Eric Feinberg

Chief Workforce Officer /
Board Director

Chief Workforce Officer for Qmerit, a leader in Global Electrification Solutions, Eric understands the value of people within an organization through a multi-faceted role of development, training and human resources for an international network of contractors. Eric has almost 30 years at a VP level or above in Sales and Operations and another 18 years leadership in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Eric started as a Commissioned Officer in the Marine Corps where he was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He joined Manpower as VP, responsible for their IT offering and grew it to $48m in revenue. He then spent 6 years as SVP at Professional Access before moving on to TrueBlue as SVP for 15 years, responsible for the establishment and growth of their industrial and energy division,  and strategic digitalization initiatives, including their app, Job Stack. Most recently he joined Qmerit as CWO and is on the Board for the Building Talent Foundation, developing skilled tradespeople in construction.

Eric’s industry knowledge and experience is unparalleled in the recruitment and staffing industry. His work with the Global Workforce Development Council and Building Talent Foundation exemplify a commitment to improving labour standards and opportunities for others.  

Floyd Sijmons

CEO /
Executive in Residence

CEO of Enermetrics, a SaaS start-up in the clean-tech space, Floyd is a mentor and angel investor. More than 30 companies have graduated from his courses and mentoring, including the winner of 2021’s New Ventures start up of the year.

Floyd interned at Groupon before moving up through the company to senior positions, with a focus on problem solving and fixing operational challenges. His next role was as MD & Co-Founder of a financial comparison site in Malaysia, followed by MD & Co-Founder at Helpling, managing their Dutch business. He grew the local business to number 2 in the organization (after the home nation) and started an interest in supporting and developing start-ups. Since then, he has taken several C-suite level positions and increased his start-up support, including a position as Executive in Residence at SFU.

An experienced CEO, supporter of start-ups and angel investor himself, through his work with the Angel Forum. Floyd brings very relevant and valuable experience to the Advisory Board. He has a wealth of knowledge in growing and managing multi-sided marketplace with high volume and low margins, exactly the market AmbiMi intends to operate in.

Jack Harris

Vice-Chairman

Most recently Vice Chair of Tom Harris Cellular Ltd, one of the largest networks of Telus retail stores,  Jack has been a steady hand at both the finances, and operations, of many large enterprises spanning Automotive and Communications.

Jack started his career with a stint as CFO of a successful Auto Dealership in Nanaimo. He continued with a promotion to President of an automotive supply company before returning to a CFO role with a GM dealership for almost 30 years. Towards the end of the 90’s Jack jumped at the opportunity to join the blossoming telecommunications industry and took a role as partner and CFO of Tom Harris Cellular. He helped build this business to be the largest Telus dealership in Canada at the time, overseeing and arranging finance for several acquisitions and a successful sale of several branches to Telus themselves.

Jack’s long tenure in finance will be invaluable as AmbiMi continues to scale. His experience in growing a network of physical (retail) store locations via acquisition and organic growth will complement AmbiMi’s plans to open a network of Job Hubs across North America.

Jay Hutton

Co-Founder and CEO of VSBLTY Groupe Technologies Corp. Jay is a serial entrepreneur and brings to VSBLTY both the vision of a technology literate leader but also the daily balance and rigor of an operations executive. Jay draws on his many years of experience as a seasoned software executive with a career spanning more than 25 years including a prior mid-cap public company in the telecom software arena.

Jay began his career at Gandalf Technologies, an Ottawa-based pioneer of data communications technology in 1988. He later served as Country Manager (Canada) of Ascend Communications during their rapid growth, public offering and ultimate sale to Lucent Technologies in 1999. Jay then spent the next 10 years as President and CEO of a venture backed and financed company that ultimately went public. Jay engineered an exit in 2011.

Jay’s experience in finance and execution is particularly relevant for small, incubating companies. Jay has brought two companies public and has raised more than $200M USD in various financing projects from both private and public sources.

Juanita Lohmeyer

Juanita Lohmeyer BSc, PMP, MBA, CPA, CMA is the CEO of Forward Strategy Group. She is an award-winning C-Level financial services executive, board member and advisor who delivers growth and transformation resulting in billion-dollar outcomes through 20+ years in financial services, telecommunications, information technology and education.  She also serves as an advisor to the business schools at Cornell University and Queen’s University.

Juanita spent 6 years at Telus where she championed digital and process innovations resulting in an ROI of 600%. Following on from that role she held director positions at ICBC and BCAA. At the former, she led a digital strategic transformation of all enterprise solutions, enabling annual revenue over $3.7B. At BCAA she delivered 40 consecutive months of membership growth as the General Manager of business operations. More recently as President at J.T Insurance Services, the company was recognized as Business in Vancouver’s fastest growing broker with 33% capacity growth and one of HR Reporter's 35 Best Places to Work in Canada.

Juanita’s track record in the implementation of high-performing initiatives and processes mark her out as a valuable addition to the Board. Her work with high growth strategies through financial leadership and digital transformation complement AmbiMi’s longer term goals.
